We now know about two/three haters so far for something that doesn't exist.
Couple of things to keep in mind is that many people have sidekicks(especially teens), and it's built up a pretty good following. I think you may see some definite synergy within the Microsoft Entertainment division. Looking forward they've already laid out the ground work for most of this. So whatever they introduce just needs to be powerful, seamless, and sexy.
It goes hand in hand with many reviews, players, and critcs for the title (Uncharted)along with awards, and accolades given to other titles in his article. Bioshock for example was universally better on every level imaginable in comparison. Because we have heard time and time again about how the Xbox 360 is not an HD console but the PS3 is. Yet it's best showcased title falls in the league of a 360 title, and the PS3 has yet to prove that it technically is far and above better than the 360. A...
Anyone else notice how he did not mention "Uncharted" as the best looking game this generation on either console? I'm not trying to start a flame war, but I think this should put to rest some of the Sony fanboy BS concerning how great "Uncharted" was overall to other titles. Especially seeing as how the game is set at the same HD standard that Gears of War and Bioshock which were set at 720p. It also debunks Sony's claim that all it's titles would be in 1080p...
thing about the Killzone 2 comparisons are two BIG issues.
1. The first game was horrible. They need to get the gameplay right from the get-go, cause it was straight ass dirt.
2. Epic showed Gears of War at the same time we saw the first fake Killzone 2 demo/pics. Yet the game has still yet to be released, and Epic is on the second Gears of War.
So spare us about how great Killzone 2 is going to be, we don't believe you. Till I hold the PS3 controller in...
is for the people that don't know DD is actually happening now, and not far away. There are too many companies, people, and institutions using DD for their uses now. What DD isn't is the defacto way to get content, it's just an option. An option that is growing everyday. That's the problem people don't want to admit that its a factor right now. Yet I gurantee you there are couple of people at Sony Music crying at night at how the hell they are going to sell/market that new Aero Smith album wi...
You guys are saying, but I just don't think you see the side of the fence that this affects. It's not as much about racism as it is about responsibility in your presentation. We have no idea about the game, but like I said in my above post if you are not a gamer how do you see this game? If you are not a Resident Evil series alumni, how will you see this game? You really want to entrust the people who jump up at seeing one Bully screenshot, or trailer and say they have a sense to see somethin...
Will be so huge. Gameinformer always does an accurate job of really getting behind what's going on with games. Titles that get placed on the front cover are investigated. Just for Resistance 2 and Sony fans went crazy and we had tons of threads for it's update on graphics and gameplay. Expectations for that PS3 title went through the roof, and it deserves it. So now with the focus of this issue, and this podcast. I'm trusting their observation on Gears2. They have yet to talk out there ass. ...
I do see his point. He's saying that for people who don't have objective reasoning they can look at those images in the trailer (which is all that he's talking about, not the game) You can parallel some of those scenes with what exists today in Africa. Faminine, disease, political strife, etc. You can't pull the same reference from any other Resident Evil title, and say hey that's happening on some level in real society. Right now you can turn your television on, and within perhaps 30 minutes...
think this is great for Sony. They have to pay Take-two for having the game in a bundle. The same way they have to pay Konami. They are basicly telling these companies here's your money, and we'll put inside our box and make it look like ours. This is a very stark contrast to what Microsoft did with Halo 3, a title which they could have bundled. It does speak alot about confidence in the PS3 and it's attach rate for games, and multiplatform titles selling on the console. I don't think they ar...
We can now confirm the game does not take place in Haiti, but Africa instead. I think Capcom missed an oppourtunity to address some of the people who believe the imagery we have seen in the trailer can be looked at as racist (Although I see the point, I don't agree with that being the objective of Capcom). The reason I say this is because if we look at how hyper sensitive our media is, then we have to pay attention to the fact that not many people fully understand the Resident Evil series. Th...
I think it's fairly easy to change these sterotypes. The problem is the culture at these companies, you don't have a medium of people. It's one of the reasons I love the music industry. I'm not talking about the music, but the diversity of people who work with in it. You will meet all kinds of people with tastes and styles. So this translates to a different work enviornment, but even still there needs to be more diversity in story telling. You just need someone, and a company/developer who ge...
Game is going to be a savage. Come November everything should be in line for how it's going to go down for me enjoying this and other titles. Good times people, good times...
that he said it's his game of the year is something I respect. If NG2 is what should sit on your mantle, go do the damn thing I say. I'm just glad the game is coming two months, because I'm just finishing most of the games I bought. I'm really getting into Halo3, not letting the hype, or haters thoughts interfere. So far I really am enjoying the experience. I think it's good to put a great title away and not play it for months. So it's been sitting for a while unopened. Funny enough I did the...
Use fanboy hate as barometer for what most people want to play or are playing. Bioshock was a great game, and was part of a great line-up. If/when a sequel is available for the PS3 also I think it should be fairly obvious that the game will be purchased. It add more games to the PS3 overall, and is a good reason someone can look forward to purchasing a PS3.
Is the perfect example of demo/episodic content doing well on a system. Although you are not getting the full game, we see that a game that can be played in conjunction with a full fledged title can do well. This gives me hope for GTA4 episodic DLC on the Xbox 360. People are going to want more, and with a title like GTA4 there's no doubt people will show up. Good job GTP5...PS3 is on it's way
